BOSTON TIRES INC. is an used tire shop in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is listed at 520 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610, which places it among the local businesses of Bridgeport that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Bridgeport is in Connecticut, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bridgeport is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Connecticut's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Every time I came to the shop I left with something different wrong and each time they would tell me itโ€™s something unrelated to the root of the problem. I was left with major safety concerns and was told that it was due to โ€œ my driving โ€œ

$130 to change ONE small tire on a Toyota๐Ÿ˜‘ idk where they get that number from but Iโ€™m good on that place!

I came in for a simple alignment after hitting a pothole. At first, everything seemed fine and I appreciated that they got me in and out quickly. But as soon as I left, I started hearing a clicking/banging noise every time I turned. I took a closer look myself and found that the inner tie rod had been loosened from the rack and pinion โ€” not adjusted properly at the outer end like it should be. Thatโ€™s not just a mistake, thatโ€™s a serious safety issue. If that had come loose while I was driving, especially with my kids in the car, the outcome couldโ€™ve been much worse. When I brought it back to explain what happened, instead of taking responsibility or even checking the work, I was met with attitude and then charged again for another alignment. Now the car is still not aligned correctly, and Iโ€™m left paying out of pocket for parts and labor to fix something that shouldnโ€™t have happened in the first place. I donโ€™t mind paying for good work. I do mind paying twice for unsafe work and being treated like Iโ€™m the problem for pointing it out. If you value your safety and expect accountability, I would think twice before coming here

The best price around in Bridgeport and Stratford, owner or manager very friendly and work with you on prices, I am going back to have all of my wifeโ€™s car replaced and have them do the alignment as well! I visited them today for two from tires on my Chevy and I was very impressed and satisfied with their service!

They were just about to close, & I had to change some tires that I bought online. I passed by & asked them if I could go get my tires, & they wait until I come back to put them on. They said yes. I left & got my tires, came back, & they installed all 4 tires plus balance them in under 20 minutes...including changing valve stems. I really appreciated that. Good guys.
